Established in 1899, the Grand Rapids Oral Deaf program is committed to helping children who are deaf or hard of hearing develop spoken language and literacy through listening.
We are a public school center base program servicing students within Kent County. Our mission is to enable children with hearing loss to gain skills necessary to perform at the same level as their normal hearing peers using the auditory-verbal practices of teaching.
Our longtime teachers and staff are dedicated to helping each child discover their unique potential – academically, socially, and interpersonally. We invite you to learn more about us and to visit our classrooms soon.
21st Annual Charity Golf Classic and Fund Drive
Plans are beginning for our annual golf outing. If you'd like to help, sponsor, volunteer, or golf, email us your contact information.
